Student Ministry and You!

Here are the upcoming announcements for this week:
On Wednesday nights, we are starting a new series called: REALITY!We're basing our lessons off of reality tv shows... this week is "The Biggest Loser".We'll be talking about traits of Jesus that are defined as weakness in our culture today.Next week is "Charm School", we'll be talking about why the Gospel is attractive to the lost.We still need crew leaders on Wednesday nights!--

Don't forget Sunday School is at 9:30 and Worship is at 10:30!

PARENTS: This Sunday night, our church will be showing the movie, "Fireproof". It is an amazing film that deals with the issues of marriage. Our kids are invited to see thismovie as well, but this is at your discretion.We do encourage you to come and sit together as a family!

Community Groups will be starting Jan. 18th
Tribal and Tribes will be starting February 1st:
Last year we had 5 tribes, and I wanted to thank those who helped participate in this:

Our students loved their tribes! They are ready for some more.... So....We're needing more Tribes! Here's what you would be doing:
Taking a hobby or sport you enjoy, teach our studentshow to do it, and then use that hobby/sport as an object lesson for a bible study.Groups meet as early as they want, but need to finish by 5 to allow time to get to comm. groups!

Here are the dates for Tribes:
Feb. 8, 22
March 8 (long break due to Spring Break)
April 5, (break due to One Weekend and Easter) and 26th
May 3rd

If you are interested let me know. Many of these dates are flexible with you having approx. 4-6 students. If that Sunday doesn't work, find a time during the week.
